The Story

The Story
- 1972.
  
  Emily Francis exits Grand Central Station in New York City, with bags of hopes and dreams of becoming a Warhol Superstar. She immediately befriends a group of Marilyn Monroe-idolizing hippies, who openly brings her into their world of free spirit and music, in their humble 42nd street loft.
  
  One fateful night at Max's Kansas City, Emily meets the silver-haired Warhol, surrounded by his prestigious crowd of Superstars. While Emily dances to the tunes of The Velvet Underground, Andy Warhol becomes entranced with Emily's glowing blond hair. He invites Emily to the studio the next day for a screen test and thus begins her evolution into Dierdre Sunshine.
  
  Torn between her dreams, love and personal identity, Emily stumbles through the streets of New York, disassembling her past and present and whether she will be loyal to those that know her best, or immerse herself as Dierdre in Warhol's eccentric world of disposable fame.
The Music

The Music
- "Warhol Superstar" contains all original music inspired by the characters and the supreme styles and range of the 1970s.
  Influenced by The Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Elton John, The Beatles as leading artists, "Warhol Superstar" variety in musical taste heightens the cinematic scenes of the screenplay.
  
  Demo tracks are currently being in production in New York City.
